Due to demand Dan is providing a more intensive training day for those wanting one to one training with him.
These days run within our regular track training days. The format is the same. 20 minute on track sessions with 40 minutes between sessions to receive feedback, ask questions and receive instruction. You will need to ride your own bike.
Dan will be providing 1:1 intensive trackday day rider coaching.
He has been track coaching since 2013 with various track training schools alongside his own career in racing.
Starting his racing career in 2003, he has competed in World 250GP Championship, European Superstock 600cc, British Supersport, British Superbikes, Spanish Moto2, World Superport, World Endurance and now National Superstock 1000cc.
With over 250+ British Superbike Championship starts to his name, as well as World Championship podiums, Dan is one of the most experienced riders currently still in British Championship racing, and has been a regular track coach with JW69 Trackdays since we started.
Your day will consist of the following points, to help your riding in terms of both safety & technique:
⁃ Initial bike checks, meet & understand your requirements. Bikes setup together, and how the day will run.
⁃ Track position check & advice, onboard camera footage with debrief.
⁃ Braking & throttle application advice.
⁃ Body position check & advice.
⁃ Track references, brake markers, turn in points, apex references, exit references and advice to make your laps flow.
⁃ Bike setup advice & discussion.
⁃ Track maps with comments & video footage for client to take home.
⁃ All abilities welcome.
Dan would like to introduce the use of real time intercom system, so that 2 way minimal conversation can be used on track, to quickly address issues immediately rather than waiting until both riders get back to the garage. This will need some co-operation from client should they wish to use this option, to help install in clients own helmet.
Finally, it is possible to share this experience with a colleague, making the day a 2:1 experience, however, the only requirement from Dan’s side would be that both riders are of similar ability and MUST be in the same trackday ability session, which means also that de-briefs will be done together, of course with individual feedback.
To check availability and book, click on the date you want, on the booking page confirm the date and if Dan is available the one to one will show as an optional extra. If you select both days of a 2 day event the option for Dan will only show for both days. If you just want one day of one to one and one standard day, book the days separately.
